HVAC Technician Lead - Hydronics Systems
Responsibilities :
Specialize in large hydronic systems and boiling systems , in addition to working with forced air, refrigeration, split systems, and other HVAC systems.
Perform installation, maintenance, repair , and testing of various mechanical systems, including fans, motors, heating units, controls, pumps, and more.
Work from schedules, work orders, blueprints, sketches , and other technical documentation.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, including performing standard calculations related to load requirements and pipe sizes.
Lead and manage a team on HVAC projects, while also contributing hands-on work as needed.
Requirements :
At least 5 years of experience with large hydronic systems is a must.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding technical documentation.
Projects are mostly on a federal installation so travel to federal sites is required
Physical ability to bend, squat, lift, carry, stand, and kneel as required by the job.
Must be able to pass a background check .
Must be a U.S. citizen .
Must be available for domestic travel for extended periods of time.
HVAC certification required.
Experience in commercial HVAC projects is required.
