What You’ll Do:
- Routine maintenance of fleet of lifts (forklifts, man lifts, etc.) including gas and diesel engines including oil changes, tire repair, etc.
- Assist plant facilitator with maintaining service equipment including boom trucks, man lifts, portable welding machines, generators and other equipment.
- Maintain and repair forklifts 5k-80k.
- Capable of ordering service and repair parts on all equipment.
- Organization of fleet maintenance building and work area to keep building orderly at all times.
- Communicate with co-workers and management in a courteous and professional manner.
- Abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
- Operate within departmental budget constraints.
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers and shop personnel, keeping everyone informed and updated regularly to guarantee that company and customer objectives are met.
- Wearing the proper safety equipment.
- Operate fork-lift, pallet jack, and other heavy equipment, if necessary.
- Practices good housekeeping and safety, always.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
Who You Are:
- General knowledge of all aspects of automotive and equipment repair and maintenance.
- Understanding of materials, tools, and supplies involved in the mechanic position.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of coworkers in all different departments.
- May occasionally be required to handle items that weigh in excess of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate the English language and follow verbal and written instruction.
