We are looking for an experienced Service Technician with 3 or more years’ experience in Electronic Security – Access Control, Video, Intrusion and Fire Alarm. The ideal candidate must possess a Delaware State Alarm Employee License, a valid driver’s license, good driving record and verifiable work experience. Key Responsibilities
- Service and/or installation of security, access control and camera systems.
- Maintain records/documents of work performed.
- Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Maintain company owned vehicle in safe operating condition.
- Present a professional image of Prevent Security & Technology at all times in appearance and behavior; seeks opportunities to promote the services offered by the company.
- Ability to be on-call on a rotational basis.
- Knowledge of security systems, including but not limited to: (Software House, Brivo, S2, RS2, Kantech, Keyscan, Salto, ButterflyMX, Axis, Hanwha, EagleEye, Turing, Verkada, Cloudvue and Exacq).
- Knowledge of IP cameras, networking, routers, port forwarding.
- Knowledge is integrated locksets.
- Proficient in Access Control Install/Programming.
- Proficient in IP Video Install/Programing.
- Security installation, cabling and or service with a minimum of 3 years.
- Access control installation with a minimum of 3 years.
- IP video service and Installation with a minimum of 3 years
- After receipt of conditional offer of employment, must be able to pass drug screen/physical/background check.
- This position requires an onsite presence at our New Castle, DE office and throughout the region.
