Job Description :
Collection System Apprentice assists higher level workers and is distinguished by entry level experience with maintenance, operation, repair work, operating cleaning equipment, and assisting with CCTV equipment as directed. Work is performed after receiving technical direction and assigned task(s) by Collection System Technician II, Collection System Technician III, supervisor, or manager. This classification is a DOT regulated position.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED. Any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above
Routine maintenance (preferred). Six months or more of relevant experience (preferred). Valid driver's license. Must hold or be able to obtain a Class B CDL within 90 days of hiring. Class I KWEA collections certification and / or KDHE certification within 3 years of hire date.
Salary Range : 24.51 / hr.
