And submit proof of identity and employment eligibility.JOB DESCRIPTION : The Street Division is seeking an Operations Superintendent to join their team. The Operations Superintendent will lead and oversee the Traffic and Concrete Team, ensuring collaboration and alignment with departmental goals. This role is pivotal in planning, organizing, and supervising daily operations to ensure the department meets community needs efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities include leading personnel responsible for cleaning, repairing, and maintaining streets, traffic systems, and related infrastructure. This position will also collaborate with the Fleet Division on vehicle repairs and replacements to ensure equipment readiness and address and manage inquiries by generating work orders, dispatching crews, and ensuring timely service delivery. The Operations Superintendent will evaluate the team's performance and communicate transparently with customers. Duties include providing constructive feedback, fostering a coaching-oriented leadership style to encourage team growth and development, and attending leadership meetings to contribute to departmental planning and decision-making. This position ensures operations adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.QUALIFICATIONS : High School Diploma or GED and five years of facilities maintenance experience, including two years as a supervisor or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the position's duties. Knowledge of equipment, materials, and techniques used in street maintenance, construction, marking, and signing.
