ELIGIBILITY SPECIALIST TEAM LEADER

The Eligibility Specialist is responsible for entering employee eligibility information into our Claims software. Information provided to this department is for our customer's new hires, terminations, new dependents, name changes, etc. Phone calls are also taken when a customer or the customer's employee calls to report a change in status, address change, birth, etc., which requires the software system to be updated with the new information. Therefore, this essential job function requires the employee to work inside the office. This very fast-paced position requires the majority of the day performing data entry. Attention to detail is critical, and a pleasant attitude and being a good team player are vital. Overtime may be required during the open enrollment season of Dec., Jan., and Feb. As with any job, there may be other tasks assigned when necessary. In addition, the Team Leader's role will be to serve as a leader and adviser for co-workers in their team concerning claims eligibility and is responsible for providing guidance, instruction, training, and leadership skills to inspire the team to perform at their optimum.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
- Experience with self-funded insurance experience preferred
- High School degree
HOURS REQUIRED: 40 per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Onsite). Some overtime may be required during busier times.
PAY BASIS: Hourly
