Job Overview
YOU WILL NOT BE INSTALLING WINDOWS. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window and door measurer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the measurements and orders of various types of windows and doors in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Window measurer will ensure that all measurements and orders of windows and door meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- measure windows and doors according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and sealing.
- Perform measurement tasks to prepare customers for window and door installation.
- Discuss projects with customers and go over the scope of work
- Order windows and doors for various projects
- Need speak english and have great customer service skills
- will be responsible for knowing upcharges are various different project implementations for window and door projects
- Drivers License Required
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in the following areas:
- Frame carpentry, with a focus on window and door openings.
- Glass installation methods, ensuring quality workmanship.
- Proficiency in caulking and sealing techniques.
- Familiarity with drywall installation processes.
- Ability to read schematics and follow detailed project plans.
- Knowledge of window and door projects
