Responsibilities
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain technical skills needed to perform multi-modality ultrasound procedures including OB/GYN and Breast ultrasound procedures within the care center.
- Inform physicians of preliminary findings as requested
- Ability to document patient history for radiologist interpretation.
- Ability to work with mammography technologist and radiologist to ensure quality patient care.
- Address patient questions and concerns in a positive and helpful manner.
- Utilize PACS and EMR.
Additional Job Functions:
- Maintain required certifications and licensing
- Attend staff meetings
Qualifications
- 3-5 years clinical experience required
- ARDMS registered sonographer
- OB/GYN experience
- Breast ultrasound experience
- Breast registry preferred
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a concentration on patient-focused service required
- Experience working with electronic medical records preferred.
