Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of North Carolina, is looking for a Hospitalist / Nocturnist Physician to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Durham, NC. About the Practice :
The clinical team consists of 8 total physicians, 5 OB / GYN’s and 3 gynecologists. There are also 4 certified nurse midwives, 1 nurse practitioner, 1 physician assistant, and a physical therapist along with a great support staff. The practice has been serving women in Durham and the greater Raleigh metro area for over 80 years. All deliveries and GYN surgeries are done at Durham Regional Medical Center. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an excellent group of physicians in a growing area and a great hospital system. Looking for a physician who wants to work a few hospital call shifts per week and focus their career on Labor & Delivery.
Practice Highlights :
- Hospital shifts will be at Durham Regional Medical Center, which has a Level 2 NICU unit and support from Duke University resident physicians.
- Full-time position of in-house call shifts of 10-14 12-hour shifts per month.
- Hospitalist can expect to perform about 5-10 deliveries per month.
- Strong group of resident physicians that can provide assistance and backup to hospitalist.
- Group malpractice coverage.
- Call is shared with another practice group.
