Summary: Implement and monitor customer selection, product development and availability, and product pricing strategy. Engage with the sales teams and focus on targeted customers, markets and products. Work with Technology and Manufacturing to monitor product design formulation and production to make sure it is in line with the cost requirements and expectations. Implement a pricing strategy and ensure margins meet the business plan. Support UCC philosophy focused on facilitating the growth of the organization, continually improving quality, and driving to a world class safety environment.

- Primary interface with Order Management, Technology, Purchasing and Manufacturing to drive business team strategies and tactics.
- Primary interface with Finance to develop, evaluate and analyze monthly financials including flash process.
- Primary interface with Sales and Finance on business plan development and annual forecasting.
- Responsible for structural pricing agreements.
- Interface with customers in conjunction with the Account Managers to advance sales forward, gain new business and address issues where appropriate.
- Participate with the Audia Marketing Team to create and advance marketing literature and multimedia.
- Generate quotes for larger customers and tiers as well as large bid packages.
- Initiate and drive the completion and approval of all commercial documents.
- Understand trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscapes perspective.
- Drive new product introductions based on commercial needs to support organic growth.
- Own product cost and pricing for margin expansion.
- Ownership of Stocking Programs, Rebate Agreements and Aged Items.
- Interact with suppliers as required.
- Follow UCC Quality System-approved work instructions and procedures and help improve these as needed.
- Responsible for successful facilitation of all company safety policies and procedures.
- Complete monthly Safety Observations and attend UCC Connect Meetings.
- Five to seven years of sales experience preferred
- Minimum five years’ experience in color, plastics, polymers, or plastic molding processes.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient or the ability to become proficient in PRIMOS.
- Strong financial understanding or the capability to develop this understanding.
- Ability to influence and manage cross functional teams.
- Creative and critical thinker with a strong business acumen.
- Strong understanding of thermoplastics and colorant industry.
