Fire Sprinkler Inspector – Greater Charleston, SC Area
Unifour Fire & Safety, a Southeastern leader in full-service fire protection inspections and repair, is seeking a high quality, skilled Fire Sprinkler Inspector to become the next member of our team! Candidates should be honest, self-motivated, punctual, well organized, and have a solid technical background in inspection of Fire Sprinkler Systems. Salary with monthly bonus plan. Company vehicle. Job Duties:
- Inspection and testing of Water-Based systems per NFPA25
- Backflow Inspection, testing and repair
- Conduct service calls, perform onsite emergency troubleshooting and repairs
- Record and document all inspections, repairs, deficiencies, and recommendations in a timely manner
- Work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Maintain vehicle in clean and orderly fashion. Keep vehicle stocked with parts, equipment, and supplies, necessary to perform the job
- Must be a self-starter, problem solver and communicate well with Customers
- Position will require candidate to be placed on the emergency on-call rotation
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- NICET Certification in Inspection and Testing of Water Based Systems preferred, Level I, II, or III
- Multiple system experience required. Examples include: Dry Systems, Wet Systems, Deluge, Pre-Action and others.
- Experience should include NFPA 25 Inspections, Service, and preventative maintenance
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Must pass a drug screen & background check
- Strong work ethic, professional attitude, honest & hard working
- Must be able to push, pull, lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use iPad/Common Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel)
- Must be comfortable with heights, working on ladders or lifts, or in confined spaces.
- High School diploma or equivalent
