The Lead Engineer & Testing Facilities Manager will be responsible for leading the testing labs at two facilities in Tonawanda, NY. They will be the leader in the lab, driving results and schedules. This person will report to our Global Lab Services Manager. This position will also be responsible for all lab equipment upkeep and preventative maintenance. They will also provide detailed summaries of all test results and be able to work cross-functionally with Alkegen Management and interface with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in the lab at Corporate Headquarters in Tonawanda, NY as well as a newly-created lab at a nearby manufacturing facility.
• Oversee lab staff, such as engineers and techs.
• Schedule tests to ensure quality and quick results.
• Ensure the upkeep of all the lab equipment with preventative maintenance schedules.
• Present concise results to Sales team and customers as needed.
• Manage the lab as a potential cost center where we can provide customers with testing capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical disciplines (master’s degree is a plus)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Lab Services, Product Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other technical disciplines
• 3 to 5 years of strong experience in Program / Project Management

Compensation:

• $131,402 - $148,784
• Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
