We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team in the media filtration manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our filtration products meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. As a Quality Technician, you will collaborate with cross- functional teams to implement quality control systems, improve manufacturing processes and resolve any quality-related issues to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance & Control
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures for commercialized media filtration products.
- Work closely with R&D to develop, implement and maintain test methods for new grades of filtration media.
- Analyze and document non-conformance issues, identifying root causes and developing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with production teams to monitor and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring consistent quality and efficient operations.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to quality defects, working with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
- Support lead initiatives for continuous improvement, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all quality assurance documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards (ISO 9001:2015).
- Maintain traceability and documentation of inspections, tests, and quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines within the manufacturing process.
- Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree, Certificate, or two years of college in chemistry, or equivalent wet lab experience, bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience preparing chemical solutions and knowledge of wet lab safety practices
- Experience in Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) a plus
- Experience:
- Quality Lab experience
- Chemistry experience
- Hands on experience with quality management systems (QMS) and standards (ISO 9001;2015, Six Sigma) a plus
