Job Description
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading the Engineering and Maintenance teams at our Tonawanda plant in New York, USA. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve manufacturing processes and equipment, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced costs.
- Collaborate with operations staff to design and improve processes and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Mentor and develop members of the engineering and maintenance teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work closely with product and application teams to develop new products and industrialize existing ones, driving business growth and innovation.
- Ensure the delivery of continuous improvement through strong leadership practices and effective communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering or technical discipline.
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in a leadership role.
- TPM, Six Sigma, WCM, TPS, or Lean training related to world-class maintenance processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
