Job Details
- Capacity planning, configuring, deploying, and maintaining Databricks clusters, workspaces, and Snowflake infrastructure on Azure cloud platforms.
- Automating the provisioning and deployment of these resources using Terraform to ensure consistency and repeatability by treating infrastructure as code.
- Monitoring and optimizing Databricks cluster performance and Snowflake resource utilization, troubleshooting issues to maintain optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Implementing and managing access controls, RBAC, and security policies to protect sensitive data, along with developing environment strategies and governance frameworks based on industry best practices.
- Providing technical support to users of Databricks and Snowflake, including issue resolution.
- Developing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as data scientists, data engineers, and business analysts to understand their requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Enforcing data governance, quality, and enterprise standards, while utilizing tools like Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra, and Snowflake Polaris,
- Supports a robust production environment and ensures compliance and data quality.
