Job Summary:
Unify Energy Solutions is currently looking for a Building Automations System Engineer to work in our Houston, TX office. If you are looking to join a great team, have a background in Building Automations Systems and HVAC systems, are a self-starter, detail oriented, extremely organized, able to work independently, who enjoys working in a fast-paced high-volume environment - Apply Today!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all design engineer activity is aligned with latest conformed construction documents prior to installation.
- Able to modify and update design drawings and maintain “as-built” documentation.
- Understanding of HVAC sequences of operation.
- Maintain Unify design standards and procedures.
- Communicate with Submittal Engineers, MEP Engineers, Contractors, Equipment Manufactures, Project Managers, Field Technicians, and Sales Account Representatives.

Qualifications:
- Strong technical and problem solving abilities
- Proficient with computers, phones, and other office equipment
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate an attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage a project from development and stakeholder engagement through implementation and evaluation
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experienced with using Microsoft Office Application.

Knowledge of building automation systems, HVAC systems, building construction, and contracting.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
