Entry-Level Building Automation Field Technician

Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Building Automation Field Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or students in HVAC and instrumentation programs who are eager to apply their skills in a hands-on environment.

As a Field Technician, you will learn how to commission and troubleshoot HVAC controls equipment, including:

• Variable Air Volume (VAV) terminal units
• Air handling units (single-zone, multi-zone, dual-duct, etc.)
• Central plant equipment (boilers and chillers)
  
  

You Will Also Gain Experience In

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings , wiring diagrams, and mechanical prints
• Understanding and verifying sequences of operations for building automation systems
  
  

You will work as part of a collaborative field team, reporting to a Project Manager and working alongside experienced technicians and lead techs. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential, as you will interact with teammates and customers while maintaining detailed documentation of work performed.
