What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Trainer (BOC, MAT, LAT) position at Unify Health Services?
Unify Health Services is a dynamic, women-owned small business composed of passionate healthcare professionals aiming to revolutionize the industry through cutting-edge programs. We are actively seeking industrial specialists to provide onsite preventative services to the industrial athletic population. We currently have a PRN position open in Hanover, MD. There is a minimum of 8 hours per month, with two 4 hour shifts.
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant License, Occupational Therapist Assistant License, or ATC (MAT, BAT, LAT) in the state of employment.
- Valid BLS and CPR certifications.
- Proficiency in outpatient clinical skills, first responder skills, and musculoskeletal education.
- Familiarity with workplace safety, health regulations, and OSHA guidelines is a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent activities: walking, sitting, repetitive arm and leg movement, stooping, forward bending, handling, keyboard/computer work.
- Occasional activities: pinching, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to briskly walk in the field/location for emergencies, observation, and job coaching.

- Performing physical abilities tests for the client's new hires.
