Join Our Team as an Industrial Medical Provider!
Job Summary:
Unify Health Services is seeking dedicated medical professionals (EMTs, LPNs, Paramedics, and RNs) to join our community of healthcare trailblazers. As an Industrial Medical Provider, you'll play a crucial role in nurturing the health and vitality of our industrial athletes. Join us in this on-site position where you'll make a difference in many industrial athletes' lives. This is a PRN position (hours are not guaranteed) located in Tomahawk, with potential hours available Monday-Thursday between the hours of 5a-1:30a, 10 hour shifts, occasional opportunities for Fridays and Saturdays.
Environment:
Dive into the exciting realm of occupational health in a large manufacturing plant. Protect the health of industrial athletes as they work to ensure all deadlines are met. Equip yourself with necessary safety gear and embrace the challenge.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure in your state
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- 6 months to 1 year of professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in industrial healthcare
- Experience with giving immunizations
- Knowledge of workplace safety, health, and OSHA regulations (a plus)
Physical Demands:
- Frequent standing, walking, and sitting
- Pinching, grasping, and gripping
- Reaching from floor to overhead
- Stooping and forward bending
- Occasional keyboard/computer work
- Occasional lifting of 30-50 lbs.
Main Duties:
- Responding to any and all injuries or illnesses that happen on the plant floor or that come into the center.
- Providing physicals for the client's new hires.
- Educational and wellness visits, including vaccines.
- Return to work visits with UDS and BATs
