Job Title: Industrial Specialist
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Hours: PRN (as needed) M-F 7a-5p
Position Overview: Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Health Specialist, where you'll work on-site to promote Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellness among employee populations. This role focuses on pre and post-injury programs, including Prevention Solutions and Post Injury Solutions, designed to keep employees safe and healthy. You'll conduct on-site assessments, implement wellness programs, and support post-injury rehabilitation. This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a passion for improving workplace health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain wellness and safety programs on-site.
- Provide job coaching, ergonomic assessments, and injury prevention strategies.
- Coordinate with employees, supervisors, and UHS management to ensure successful program outcomes.
- Track and report program metrics, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Preferred Experience:
- Industrial Setting: Experience working in an industrial environment.
- Performing PDAs and FCEs: Proven ability to conduct Physical Demand Analysis and Functional Capacity Evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, PT/OT, or related field with current licensure.
- 2 years of experience in Occupational Health, Industrial Medicine, or Worker's Compensation.
