Are you ready to take your engineering skills to the next level? As a Technical Documentation Specialist, you'll be at the heart of innovation, supporting Unigen's internal teams in Newark, CA. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Hardware Engineering, this role is pivotal in ensuring our documentation is top-notch and precise.
Your Daily Adventures Include:
- Crafting, verifying, and updating comprehensive Unigen PLM documentation to aid our internal customers.
- Providing keen insights into OEM BOM analysis as requested by our dynamic Marketing and Engineering squads.
- Ensuring seamless processing and release of PLM BOMs through the ECN/PCN process.
- Conducting meticulous cross-checks on BOMs and schematic documents, rectifying any mismatches you discover.
- Curating top-tier product number data sheets for sales-targeted product lines like DDR and SSD.
- Generating detailed assembly instructions to assist our Manufacturing Engineering team.
- Managing the vital Schematic and PCB layout symbol library to support Design Engineering efforts.
- Choosing the perfect DRAM/NAND parts for BOM modifications to align with client needs and expectations.
What You Bring to the Table:
A degree in Electrical Engineering, whether an Associate's or Bachelor's. 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Oracle PLM, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Acrobat, and Illustrator. A solid understanding of DDR3/4/5, SATA SSD, and NVMe SSD technologies – your expertise will shine here!
