Client Growth Specialist

We are looking for an energetic and business savvy Client Growth Specialist to join Uniglobe Travel Designers’ (UTD) corporate sales team. Reporting to the CEO, this role will be integral to the growth of UTD’s corporate travel business. UTD is the sole travel vendor for two large national Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs). In this role, you will have access to the GPO member databases which will serve as an integral tool for generating leads. Your responsibilities will span all sales aspects, supporting implementation and maintaining relationships with those clients.

Your ultimate mission will be to drive growth and retention, nurturing success for both clients and our Travel Consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition:
  • Identify potential corporate clients through market research, networking, and lead generation activities by prioritizing our GPO partnerships.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and meetings to present travel management services and solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Develop compelling proposals and presentations to showcase the value proposition of using the travel management company.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service levels with prospective clients to secure new business.
  • Account Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing corporate clients to understand their evolving travel needs.
  • Regularly review client travel data to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved travel efficiency.
  • Proactively address client concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct account reviews to demonstrate the value provided and identify potential upselling opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy Development:
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop targeted sales strategies and campaigns to reach specific client segments.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, travel policies, and emerging technologies to provide informed solutions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of successful sales experiences ideally with a focus on corporate accounts.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing travel data to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend optimized travel solutions.
  • Technology Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems and other relevant software.

Education and Experience

  • College degree and minimum of 3 years of work experience in B2B sales with proven ability to meet or exceed quota.
  • Demonstrated prior success in selling corporate travel is preferred.
  • Experience in consultative, solution-based selling.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a hybrid team.

Compensation

  • Annual Base Salary: $50K-60K
  • Commission on Sales: 1% - 3% of gross sales revenue generated by the sales team
  • Performance Bonus
  • Quarterly Performance Bonus:
  • Achievement of Sales Targets: Up to $2,000 per quarter for meeting or exceeding predefined sales targets.
  • Company-Wide Revenue Growth: Up to $5,000 for contributing to the company’s overall revenue growth goal of 20% or more annually.
  • T&E Allowance:
  • Business Expenses: $$$ a month for reasonable business-related expenses, including travel, meals, and sales team incentives.
