In the US, we have multiple sites, and this role will specifically support our Ice Cream GTM colleagues across the US and Canada. You'll be part of a dynamic team providing HR support across North America, helping to unlock the full growth potential of our Ice Cream division as a standalone entity by November 2025.

JOB PURPOSE:

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in delivering a great employee and line manager experience by being the primary contact for a dedicated group of Line Managers and Employees. You will provide advice, guidance, and support on employment matters and individual situations and manage the necessary processing to implement changes. You will be involved in HR activities spanning the whole employee life cycle, such as onboarding, international/domestic mobility, pay, leave of absence, performance questions, etc.
You love connecting with people, have good expertise and knowledge of (HR) policies, labor law, and processes, and are therefore able to provide (proactive) advice on all day-to-day HR activities. You are always driven to deliver a great experience, look for opportunities to
structurally improve experiences with an eye for people and processes, and can leverage a network of HR experts behind the scenes. You work well will others and can collaborate with your team leader to ensure seamless experience across the client group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will deliver a great employee and line manager experience every day by:
- Empowering Line Managers: Partnering with them and providing excellent guidance on individual matters to help them become great leaders.
- Supporting Employees: Acting as the single point of contact for employee challenges, developing close relationships with both employees and line managers, and making their lives simpler and more effective.
- Creating a Great Employee Experience: Supporting the Ice Cream division's transition to a standalone entity and office relocation if needed.
- Problem Solving: Using policies, expertise, knowledge of laws and systems, social skills, and common sense to find the right approach for specific questions.
- Building Relationships: Getting to know employees and ensuring they know you, which allows you to address ad-hoc requests and issues early on.
- Consistency in Policies: Ensuring that employee policies, practices, and programs are applied consistently across the business.
- Leveraging Technology: Owning and utilizing personnel technologies to deliver a great employee experience, while also developing and implementing new solutions.
- Managing Transactions: Handling a variety of employee transactions end-to-end and leveraging a network of experts to provide the right solution each time.
- Contributing to HR Strategy: Supporting broader HR strategies by participating in workshops, HR changes, and health, wellbeing, and development activities for employees, enabling them to thrive.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

- Educational Background: Have a university degree.
- HR Experience: Possess at least 5 years of experience in advising and coaching line managers and/or employees on HR-related matters such as performance issues, job evaluations, conflict resolution, and inquiries about leave, pay, and promotions.
- Confident and Proactive: Are not afraid to push back when needed and are driven to deliver an excellent end-to-end employee/line manager experience.
- Policy and Law Knowledge: Have a proficient and broad understanding of policies, labor law, and the ability to navigate complex processes and systems.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129.120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
