We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our dedicated team at our Uxbridge, MA facility. If you’re passionate about delivering outstanding service, building relationships, and driving business growth, we want to hear from you!

Position Overview:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, playing a crucial role in managing accounts, assisting with product selection, processing orders, and ensuring a seamless sales experience. You will contribute to building lasting customer relationships by providing tailored solutions and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service by answering phones and addressing customer needs with a friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Support both retail customers and contractors with product selections, design assistance, order processing, and any inquiries that arise.
  • Assist customers with sample selection and load requested items into their vehicles.
  • Process payments (checks, credit card transactions) and ensure daily transaction balances.
  • Confirm orders for invoicing and posting, while ensuring accuracy.
  • Monitor and update the status of pending orders, communicating any changes to customers promptly.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing personalized solutions.
  • Offer detailed product information, guiding customers through the sales process to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Manage sales leads, opportunities, and customer interactions through our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with both the internal team and outside sales force to enhance the customer experience.
  • Stay informed about product updates, industry trends, and competitive offerings to provide valuable recommendations to customers.
  • Assist with seasonal mailings, contractor matching, and on-site sales events.
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts and annual yard counts.
  • Fulfill literature requests from customers or Territory Managers.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the team and company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to effectively handle customer questions and concerns.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to understand shipping-related documents and perform basic math calculations.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills to build rapport and effective relationships with customers.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
