Position Overview
Our Chief Inspector ensures that repair operations are conducted in accordance with pertinent FAA regulations, Unilode's Quality Manual / Procedures, customer air carrier requirements and provides the final airworthiness determination.
General Responsibilities
- Ensure all articles delivered and maintained by the repair station are properly recorded and staged from receipt to delivery in their airworthy / serviceable condition.
- Perform and have oversight of inspection activity.
- Ensure compliance with pertinent FAA regulations, manufacturer's technical data / approved supplements, RSM / QCM and customer requirements.
- Report all quality related issues to management.
- Ensure accurate and timely creation of work orders.
- Conduct preliminary, hidden damage, in-progress and final inspections / RTS of aircraft articles processed by the repair station (as authorized) and assuring proper recording of results.
- Perform repairs when necessary.
