Maintenance Electrician

Position Summary :

Performs essential upkeep tasks throughout the facility. Responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repair and maintenance to ensure that our facilities and equipment run smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• MUST have experience and working knowledge of 3 phase and 480v electrical systems
• Routine inspection and preventative maintenance activities in a manufacturing office and facility
• Regular maintenance and repair on all housekeeping, power and material handling equipment such as forklifts, power lifts, pallet jacks, sweepers and scrubbers
• Perform electrical / mechanical / plumbing repairs, painting and office furniture moves.
• Perform routine maintenance of heating and air conditioning units.
• Maintain lighting throughout the facility.
• Answer to calls and reports of jams, malfunctions or other maintenance-related issues.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Work Environment :

Manufacturing or warehouse environment. Employee may be occasionally exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, risk of shock and other hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc.

Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, reach, stretch, crouch. Lift up to 75 pounds. Vision requires close focus, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and focus adjustment.
