What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aftersales Service Representative position at Uniloy?
Job Summary:
This position will oversee the movement of parts between the production floor and the warehouse. They will work with the Aftersales Team Lead and Warehouse Associates ensuring what parts go where and which jobs get pulled and sent to assembly in the order needed by the assembly group leaders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be comfortable with fast pace and consistent inbound/outbound calling
- Continuous improvement through training; onsite, virtual, or local workshops, as required.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of Aftermarket products in conjunction with successful selling techniques to competitively market to our customer base.
- Customer communication via telephone, email, virtual, or in person
- Lead with a customer service driven approach and professional manner, through communications to handle inquiries or complaints.
- Review of costs and pricing to ensure margins are in line with departmental goals.
- Analyzes customer request and orders to ensure a complete understanding of customers need and scope of work.
- Responsible for accurate quotations and order entry to be consistent with department goals (dates, terms, and, warranty considerations).
- Corresponds with outside sales in preparation of sales quotations, as needed.
- Assist in maintaining Aftermarket records regarding domestic or international machine population.
- Responsible for issuing Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) in accordance with established policies.
- Assist the field services team with processing customer warranty issues.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Associates degree or education and work experience in lieu of degree.
- 1 to 3 years in customer service.
- Previous experience in researching automated machine and/or plastics machine parts.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma or GED, 1-2 years related work experience.
- Effectively communicates with team members
- Must be familiar with basic measuring devices, and ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Basic mechanical comprehension
- Experience with ERP is a plus
- Skill in operating basic email, spreadsheet and database computer programs. Proficiency with complex in-house warehouse software.
- Basic analytical skills.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment. Employee may be occasionally exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, risk of shock and other hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc.
