JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for an enthusiastic People Operations Associate to join our collaborative and hard-working team. This role would suit someone who is keen to pursue a career in HR and / or has had some entry level experience in an HR / People team environment. The role requires someone who is confident working with people (both internally on a professional level, but also suppliers and contractors visiting the office), eager to learn, with great attention to detail and strong IT literacy. This is a really exciting opportunity where the right candidate can learn and grow with plenty of opportunities for development and training.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a key role at Unily and due to the nature of the responsibilities, this person will have a very visible profile for both new and existing people within the business. For that reason, they must be able to champion Unily's core values and company culture. The responsibilities for the role are as follows :
- Be the main point of contact for day-to-day employee inquiries and execute or escalate accordingly.
- Maintain and update employee records and systems, issuing documentation as needed.
- Work with the Senior People Partner to utilize our newly implemented HRIS and maximize its full capabilities.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a fantastic onboarding experience for new hires.
- Support offboarding activities for exiting team members, including scheduling exit interviews, sending communications about last-day details and arranging the return of company equipment.
- Benefits administration, supporting employees through qualifying life events, liaising with various benefit providers and brokers to support our employees throughout the year and during open enrollment.
- Assist the Senior People Partner with various People matters and projects as needed.
- Support annual processes such as benefits renewal and annual compliance requirements.
- Champion culture, coordinate, plan and execute social, wellness and volunteer events.
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues.
- Support day-to-day office needs. Be the “go-to” person for employee questions and needs – ensuring the office is well stocked and an inviting space for employees to collaborate.
- Participate in HR training and industry events.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Compensation : $45,000 - $55,000 / annual compensation based on experience

Please note :
This role will operate on a hybrid basis out of our New York office, with 2 days in the office per week as a minimum to maximize collaboration and cross-functional learning.
