Job description
- Responsible for cleaning to include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and cleaning of process equipment
- Complete sanitization of classified spaces in FDA regulated facility.
- Perform general housekeeping/cleaning trash removal to keep the area clean and free of hazards and audit ready.
- Responsible for keeping track of gowning supplies and stocking of material in designated area.
- Manages IPC (in process checks) and run designated process equipment for release of regulated FDA product.
- Operate in a safe and compliant manner and follow all applicable Safety and Quality SOPs.
- Must be able to gown and wear gowning in clean room environment.
- Record information accurately and legibly per batch records and procedures.
- Perform in a team-based environment, willing to participate in team activities.
- The use of good aseptic technique is an expectation when applicable.
- Monitor/Troubleshoot equipment and make recommendations to the Process Engineers, Automation, Leadership or Manager to improve safety, quality, and production.
- Identify operating issues; make recommendations based on conditions and implement changes to achieve efficient operating conditions.
Minimum Qualification (Education, Experience and/or Training, Required Certifications):
Education:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or related process operation preferred.
- Must be able to gown and wear gowning in clean room environment.
- You must be able to gown and wear gowning, safety shoes & glasses through-out the day while in designated areas.(provided by the company)
- Must be available to work overtime within department per Union Agener policy guidelines to support the business needs.
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Familiar with classified spaces and cleanroom gowning
- Familiar with cGMP
- Understand Good Documentation Practices

- Physical Requirements:
- Work 12-hour rotating shifts (28 day rotation/7-day off schedule)
- Must have the ability to lift and carry 50-pound loads
- Able to ascend/descend ladders and stairs
- Must be able to push, pull, squat, stand, bend, stoop and walk throughout the day.
- Familiar with using a computer, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP.
