Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans. The Delivery Driver will also assist with loading and unloading products, making this position essential to our logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving to ensure safety on the road.
• Assist in warehouse operations when not on deliveries, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading deliveries.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
