We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Specialist to join our team. Duties
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and operational needs.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy in stock counts.
- Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing and purchasing materials as needed.
- Oversee shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems for effective inventory control.
- Analyze inventory data using tools such as Power BI to identify trends and make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with warehouse management to streamline storage solutions and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices in supply chain management to reduce costs and enhance service levels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with supplier management practices and sourcing strategies.
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse environment.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to calculate quantities, item descriptions against purchase orders that were produced for that pocket.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and decision-making.
