Position Summary : The Student Development Internship program is a summer opportunity that will help prepare incoming high school seniors for professional work after graduation. During this time, interns will build relationships with mentors, gain confidence navigating a corporate setting, practice work prioritization and time management skills, as well as assist operations with real-world work initiatives.
Essential Functions :
- Work collaboratively with project teams and project leadership to maximize productivity.
- Organize and monitor schedules to see that deadlines are met.
- Help discern requirements and assign task to team members.
- Complete necessary administrative tasks, such as scheduling, research, and emails.
- Prepare training power points, job aids, assist management with documentation of new or existing processes, and draft and / or reviews procedures for usability.
- Work with operations leadership to formulate content and schedules for future internship opportunities.
- Assist with marketing or promotional activities / events.
- Learn about Gallup strengths and participate in team Gallup initiatives.
- Review loan documentation, index, file, image, and update reporting standards and systems of record as directed for a variety of loan types.
- Participate in the conceptual design of an onsite sensory room for employee use.
- Review county tax records for receipt and posting of escrow payments for mortgages.
- Perform analysis on fee groups and data sets utilizing excel to achieve a business initiative or inform decision making.
- Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training : follow internal processes and controls as required.
- Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
