Position Summary: The Residential Construction Relationship Assistant is a motivated, excellent communicator, who is detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service. This professional coordinates pre and post-closing transactions, prepares complex loan documents and tracks ongoing file requirements as well as knowledge of all loan policies, regulations, procedures and systems. This position offers the opportunity to work with multiple Officers and their clients. This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines up to one day per week upon completion of onboarding.

Essential Functions
- Provide excellent, proactive customer service for clients.
- Responsible for the construction draw process which includes but is not limited to reviewing and reconciling draws, ordering, and reviewing date down title endorsements, requesting and reviewing construction inspections, and disbursements.
- Coordinate all steps of the loan transaction, including preparing loans for approval and closing, processing loans, preparing loan documents, assembling and submitting documentation requests.
- Ensure documentation adherence to all policies, including bank loan policy, governmental, and compliance requirements. Maintain documentation is current within LOS by uploading, indexing, and using appropriate place holders.
- Service existing loan files, assist with renewals/extensions as loans mature, and follow-up on covenant pending items. Update covenants as necessary.
- Support Officers with the monitoring of their loan portfolios and service of existing loans, to ensure complete compliance with loan terms. Assist with portfolio management and servicing that includes customer contact.
- Acquire and demonstrate a strong understanding of all Residential Real Estate and Construction Loan products and services, to serve as a resource for our clients and provide effective problem resolution.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, serving as a single point of contact for requests throughout the relationship, including but not limited to making transfers, loan and account inquiries, payments, documentation changes, completing wires, handling customer inquiries, requesting and providing information, etc.
- Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
- Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
- Performs other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Previous loan experience or strong customer service experience preferred.
- Banking experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and in working with other bank software.
