Position Summary : The RPS Client Service Compliance Coordinator works with employer sponsored 401 (k) Profit Sharing Plans. Responsibilities include gathering census data for each plan, maintaining the testing database, calculating contributions, and performing and analyzing all required non-discrimination tests. This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines up to one day per week upon completion of onboarding.
Essential Functions :
- Gather all census data for each plan by working with the Plan Sponsor and officer on the account.
- Maintain the testing database.
- Calculate contributions and review census information for accuracy.
- Perform and analyze all required non-discrimination tests and communicate results to the appropriate external and internal parties.
- Communicate testing results and requirements with Plan Sponsor.
- Keep informed of technical / legislative changes that impact compliance testing.
- Prepare allocations and individual participant statements.
- Provide reports to Officer / Relationship Manager for Plan Sponsor as needed.
- Provide high standard of customer service to plan sponsors, participants, bank employees, and auditors.
- Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
- Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
- Perform other job related duties or special projects as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
