Position Summary: The System Engineer 2 responsibilities include implementation and administration of several core infrastructure components. Works closely with the Engineer Team on all aspects of the following technologies: Multi-Tier Applications, Windows Server, Cloud Infrastructure, Group Policy, Microsoft Active Directory, IIS, Relational Databases, and application infrastructure for the enterprise network. This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines two days in the office three days WFH per week upon completion of onboarding.

Mostly indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor elements or hazards.
Medium workload – lifting and/or carrying up to 20 pounds frequently and exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally.
Some travel required.

Essential Functions
- Main responsibilities involve working with core infrastructure components including Multi-Tier Applications, Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, Relational Databases, and Windows Server.
- Displays strong technical aptitude with IT Security, DNS, DHCP, DFS, IT Monitoring, PowerShell, and Database administration including MSSQL, and Oracle.
- Manage projects and create detailed technical documentation.
- Assist the technical teams with escalated support calls.
- Maintains and complies with bank’s policies, procedures, and strategies to provide efficient and effective service to internal and external customers.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure service levels and contract requirements are maintained.
- Responsible for participating in an after-hours on call rotation.
- Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training: follow internal processes and controls as required.
- Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years network infrastructure experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years Windows Server Administration experience required.
- Prefer Microsoft certifications.
- Valid Nebraska driver’s license.
