The Teller is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by displaying sincere, outgoing friendliness. This includes smiling, acknowledging every customer, introducing themselves, making eye contact, and thanking the customer. Under the supervision and guidance of the assigned manager, the Teller accepts and processes transactions from the bank's customers by personal contact, mail, and night deposit. The position gains knowledge of other areas in the bank and through cross-training to provide an expected level of exceptional customer service.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, applicants should have strong verbal and interpersonal skills in order to cross-sell bank products and services. A friendly and organized individual who can execute projects and work effectively as part of a team is ideal. Previous banking or teller experience and cash handling experience are also beneficial.
