What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Director position at Union Church?
As a Social Videographer, you’ll support the digital presence of Union Church by being a hands-on content creator who imagines and executes engaging content in multiple formats and across a variety of social platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work within the digital team to create concepts that make sense for multiple platforms simultaneously (social, web, online, YouTube, etc.)
- Shoot & edit video content, photos, motion graphics, or design.
- Recruit and pastor a team of content designers
- Identify and explore new opportunities for content creation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools
- Adhere to Union’s brand and style guide and content guidelines
- Analyze and evaluate content performance
- Have a high emotional intelligence and be able to process rapid feedback
MUST-HAVES
- Significant Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, & DaVinci Resolve
- Expert knowledge of video production and editing
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage time, establish priorities, and communicate expectations
- Ability to collaborate with the social and creative director to concept and execute campaigns for various events
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to give and receive feedback and a proactive approach to team communication
- Likes learning new things and researching content topics
- Highly motivated and a flexible team player
- A portfolio of previous work (necessary for full consideration)
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 years experience in video production, journalism, or communications
- Familiarity with Union Church and its vision
- Knowledge of content trends and measuring tools
