Duties:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor customer behavior and enforce alcohol consumption policies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders
- Restock bar supplies and inventory as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and cocktail recipes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a positive manner
- Ability to handle large crowds during events
- Proficient in time management to ensure efficient service during peak hours
- Basic math skills for accurately calculating bills, handling cash, and making change
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions with accuracy
- Understanding of retail math principles for inventory management and ordering supplies
- Experience in handling cash, credit cards, and electronic payment systemsÂ
