Company Description
Union County Circuit Clerk's Office is responsible for the maintenance of all court records for the judiciary of Union County. The Office works with cross functional internal teams to maintain the day-to-day operations of the Clerk's Office both in and outside the courtroom. The Circuit Clerk's Office maintains the exemplary level of customer service already established.
Job Description
Primary:
- Attend court proceedings as assigned.
- Maintain records throughout court proceedings.
- Work front desk customer service position, processing customer requests.
- Answer phones and assist clients with questions and concerns.
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Secondary:
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Apply critical thinking principles to process solutions.
- Assimilates well into established team dynamic.
Any other office duties as assigned by the Circuit Clerk.
Qualifications
Minimum of one (1) year in a business office environment
Associates Degree preferred
Driver's License preferred
Bilingual abilities are a plus

Additional Information
Full time, 35 hours per week, office hours 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; 1 hour unpaid lunch
$16.44 per hour with annual increases based on collective bargaining agreement
Six (6) month probationary period
