What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher-ROTC-Navy position at Union County Public Schools?
The Senior Naval Science Instructor (NSI) position is available immediately. Seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated retired Navy Officer. NSI is a Marine E-9. Applicants must be willing to work after school hours - some weekends traveling with Cadets and some evenings supporting unit, school and community events. The unit enjoys tremendous support from school leadership, administration, staff, and our school board. Marshville is a small town in Union County Southeast of Charlotte, North Carolina. A brand-new High School is under construction and will open Fall 2025 on adjacent property. There is an outstanding VA hospital in Charlotte. This year our school enrollment is 950 and our unit enrollment is always above 100. 4x4 Block Schedule, Pay based on year-round / 12-month contact based on published scales with added incentive pays.
