Emergency Stabilization Director Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Director to oversee and manage our program aimed at supporting individuals in Emergency Stabilization, housed in our men's and women's buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, social work, and program management to lead our team effectively.
Duties
- Supervise program staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality services
- Develop and implement program policies and procedures
- Manage program budgets and resources efficiently
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance program outcomes
- Provide leadership in program development and expansion
- Maintain relationships with community partners and funding sources
- Strategic leader who can implement change
Role Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising staff in a social service setting
- Strong background in behavioral health, social work, or related field
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as budgeting and reporting
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and trauma
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Understands and can implement trauma informed care initiatives
Education & Experience Requirements
- 2 years of clinical Social Work/Case Management
- Masters Degree in Social Work required
- Previous team leadership experience required
- Texas Licensed Master Social worker (LMSW)
