About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at the Healing Shepherd Clinic Part-Time. As the supervising physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to adult patients. You will work with our transitional and low-income neighbors, providing care and helping connect them to other free services. Your ultimate goal will be to improve the health and wellbeing of our residents and guests, and ensure they receive the highest quality of care.
Working Hours: Flexible day-time, Weekdays, approximately 25 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Family Medicine
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a primary care setting
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments of patients;
- Diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions;
- Developing and implementing treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies;
- Providing ongoing care and support to patients and their families;
- Referring patients to physician specialists for additional care when necessary;
- Work closely with case managers to ensure treatments and medications are received as scheduled;
- Participate in fundraising events as needed;
- Lead the clinic staff, providing coaching and performance management as needed;
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients and their families and collaborate effectively with others. You will also need to be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
