Union High School in La Porte City, Iowa is searching for an engaging, student centered .5 math/.5 science teacher to join our amazing faculty! This is a full time position that would teach both science and math. Union High School has about 290 students. We have an excellent reputation for athletics as well as fine arts. Many of our students are dedicated to multiple activities and have a lot of pride for our school. In addition, La Porte City is a great location being in the Cedar Valley. We are a close 15-minute drive from Cedar Falls and Waterloo. We are also only 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids and a bit over an hour from Iowa City.
