About us

Our organization is a Christian, interracial, non-profit, and non-political institution founded by the Union Hill P. B. Church, Inc. We offer full day programs of educational activities which contribute to the positive mental, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical development of each child. Our program is conducted by competent and qualified staff in an atmosphere of love and concern for each child as an individual. Our role as caregivers and teachers is to be a support to parents and work with them in ways that will help the child become all that God has created him or her to be.

We believe:

1. The basis of all decisions will be what is in the best interest of the children in our care and facility.

2. The staff is the most important element of quality in any program for children.

3. Our main goals for children enrolled here are that develop age-appropriate skills and concepts, independence, self-control, a sense of competence and a sense of their own worth as individuals deserving of love. These are the building blocks of self-esteem.

4. All human development follows a relatively logical sequence and is never ending.

5. Proverbs 22:6 is the Christian base for the success of our children:

"Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not department from it."
