Call us at 812-238-7827 or email us at recruiting@union.health Dialysis Patient Care Technician DetailsEssential Job Duties : Specialize in providing care to patients with need dialysis treatment in acute or emergency settings.Observes patients and dialysis machines during treatment.Prepares access sites and catheter ports for dialysis.Cleans and maintains dialysis machines and equipment.Administers medication as prescribed by medical professionals.Assist in developing and modifying care plans, prioritizing patient problems, and perform medical tasks.Provide patient education, follow policies, respond to emergencies, and act as a patient advocate while respecting rights and confidentiality.Evaluate interventions, maintain professionalism, and seek assistance when needed.Qualifications :
- CCHT certification required.
- CNA certification by the State of Indiana preferred.
