  • Unit : 2EA Cardiac (Cardiac Telemetry) 28 beds
  • Patient Types : Post cardiac Cath, Positive Troponins, Afib with RVR, CHF- acute, Critical low blood levels of potassium, sodium, magnesium, Sepsis, Symptomatic Brady / Tachycardia, 2nd or 3rd degree heart blocks, Pacemaker insertions, Chest pain, First run of dialysis (not chronic renal failure), AICD malfunctioning, Nstemi, Post stemi transferring from ICU

    • Job Requirements

  • ACLS certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • NIHSS certification required

    • Schedule Information

  • Self scheduling in groups
  • Scheduling done via payroll system, API

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Listed as Progressive prior to PSO go-live – now listed as Cardiac
  • All patients have telemetry

    • Additional Details

  • Most units have a very nice break room with lockers
  • Cafeteria in the lower level
  • Gift shop in two locations at the hospital
  • Starbucks available
  • About 45 traditional travelers in house
  • Staff range from new grads to 30 years
