Description
Position Summary:
The Receptionist is responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support in order to ensure that the Club One services are provided in an effective and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Provide office support services in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the Club One site.
- Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and fax messages
- Transfer call to the appropriate offices and take adequate messages when required
- Able to answer all incoming calls and handle caller’s inquiries
- Ensure that Club One members are signed in when they come in, and signed out when picked up
- Direct the Club One members and the general public to the appropriate staff member
- Pick up and deliver the mail
- Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence
- Respond to public inquiries
- Provide word-processing and secretarial support
- Other possible responsibilities pertaining to the club include, but are not limited to:
- Data entry
- Staff supervision

Requirements
Education:
Employees need to be 18 or older and be enrolled in college or have some college courses.
Experience:
Must have previous experience working as a receptionist in a fast paced environment
Scope of Authority:
The Receptionist's direct supervisor is the Grants and Membership Coordinator

- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Be enrolled in college or have some college credits
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Must attend all staff meetings.
- Be able to maintain high level of energy.
- Be adaptable and be flexible to change.
- Assume other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft office
