Job Title: Halfway House Attendant

Reports to: Grays Dining Manager(s) & Golf Course Manager
Department: Food & Beverage
The Canteen Attendant must provide friendly, prompt and efficient service along with quality presentation of food and beverage items to customers at the Canteen bar and grill counter as well as oversee the Sugar Shack.
Responsibilities:
- Greet members and their guests in a pleasant and professional manner
- Organize and set up the bar with special attention to details
- Compile daily requisitions and restock bar
- Responsible for taking and preparing food & beverage orders
- Operates a POS system while having members sign chits
- Records and accounts for items sold
- Continually stock service area with drinks, food, ice, and condiments needed
- Must be able to lift and move 25lbs.
- Perform light cleaning duties
- Must follow all safety rules and regulations
- Follow all general and department policies and procedures
- Prior golf course experience is preferred
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Past professional bartending experience a plus but not a disqualifier.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with members, guests, and/or team members
- RAMPS certified (voucher code can be provided once on-boarded
Compensation:
- Will receive hourly rate of $7.25, in addition to service charges.

MANDATORY WORK DAYS INCLUDE (But are not limited to):
- Spring Ball (Saturday in first two weeks of April), Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day celebration (Friday before 4th of July), Member Guest Weekend.
