Job Title: Banquet Houseman

Reports to: Event Services Manager
Location: Union League National Golf Club (1765 US Rte 9 N, Swainton, NJ 08210)
Description: Responsible for the set-up and breakdown of club functions.
THIS IS A SEASONAL, PART-TIME POSITION FROM MAY 1 -OCTOBER 31. SHOULDER SEASON HOURS WILL FLUCTUATE AND IN SEASON HOURS MAY MAX OUT AT 40HRS.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate set-up of banquet/private events based on the BEO
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms, i.e. cleaning lists for all rooms
- Sense of urgency and safety when moving furniture and equipment
- Set up and break-down events furniture and equipment upon completion of event
- Courteous to members and guests
- Mandatory Workdays – Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, Member Guest (1st Thursday-Saturday in October), any weddings/major events that may arise with advanced notice
Skills and Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid US Drivers license
- Experience hooking up and maneuvering a tow hitch is a plus.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
