As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our market by providing exceptional customer experience and service. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced retail market, gaining experience to various aspects of the business.
Responsibilities- Assist customers, provide product recommendations, and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
- Monitor inventory levels and restock product as it is delivered and requires replenishment.
- Maintain a clean and organized market environment by implementing proper sanitation practices
- Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of market displays and promotional events
- Strong knowledge of fruits and vegetables and our other products we sell
- Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to efficiently and accurately operate point-of-sale systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
